Can the Stromberg Carlson Railmate folding handrail be used with the SolidStep manual fold down steps triple on a 2014 Forest River Work and Play? Threshold height is 27”.

Since the SolidStep RV Steps fold up into the interior of the camper you'd need to use a hand rail that attaches to only the outside of the camper like the Stromberg # AM-533. This folds out when needed and would work great. The # AP-101 wouldn't work with a SolidStep.

You will have to go with a sliding hitch to allow the trailer to make tight turns. For a trailer 8 feet wide the only bed length that's going to allow 90 degree turns without a slider is a stationary hitch. That being said you have two options.…
