Fifth Wheel Trailer to Gooseneck Hitch Adapter for Flatbed Truck

Question:

I have a 2011 chevy flatbed truck with a factory recessed gooseneck ball. I need to adapt the gooseneck to a 5th wheel that is removable as we need use of the full flat bed often. The 5th wheel needs to be rated for 25,000 lbs. Do you have anything that would work for me?

We have an option that comes close to meeting all of your criteria but there is nothing that can hit each checkmark.

The only thing that might potentially work for something rated close to the 25,000 lb capacity you are looking for is the Ranch Hitch Universal 5th-Wheel-to-Gooseneck Coupler Adapter # AM3100 which is rated for up to 24,000 lbs; this adapter is also available with an 8" offset # AM3139.

Both of these adapters will require a certain measurement so when your truck and trailer are level you will have to measure from the bottom of your king pin plate to the top of your trailer hitch ball. That measurement must be between 11-3/4" and 14-3/4" for the adapters to work. Additionally you must have a pin box on your fifth wheel trailer which is not cushioned and it can only be up to 24" long (measured diagonally as per the accompanying diagram).
