Determining If ST205/75-15 Size Tire Will Support Weight of 5,300 Pound Trailer

Carlisle 205 75 15 5300 total load gross on 4 tires is that within the acceptable load range for those tires . and whats is the max speed to run

We do not currently carry Carlisle tires so I am not sure what the load capacity is of the 205/75-15 tire you are looking at. With that being said, load capacities will vary within tires of the same size based on their specific load rating. Not all 205/75-15 size trailer tires have the same load capacity. This goes for their speed rating as well.

For example, we have an ST205/75D15 size tire with the Loadstar # AM1ST92 that has a Load Range C. This is a maximum load of 1,820 pounds at 50 psi which would provide you with a total capacity of 7,280 pounds for all four tires. It has a maximum speed of 81 mph.

While this tire will get the job done in terms of total weight capacity, I recommend going with a radial tire instead. They are better for trailers that will spend time on the highway. For this the Provider ST205/75R15 Radial Trailer Tire # TTWTRTM2057515C will work perfectly. It has a Load Range C of 1,820 pounds at 50 psi, giving you a total load capacity of 7,280 pounds. It also has an excellent speed rating of 81 mph.
