All Parts Needed to Flat Tow 2019 Jeep Wrangler JL Unlimited With Factory Bumper

I have a 2019 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. It has a regular bumper from the factory. I would like to flat tow it so can you tell me exactly what the best parts are that will work?

There are a number of parts you're going to need in order to flat tow your 2019 Jeep Wrangler JL Unlimited and I'll list the parts you need below:

- Base Plate Kit: Roadmaster EZ5 Base Plate Kit # RM-521453-5
- Tow Bar: Roadmaster Falcon All Terrain, Non-Binding Tow Bar # RM-522
- Safety Chains: RoadMaster 68" Single Hook, Coiled Safety Cables # RM-643
- Wiring Kit: Roadmaster Diode 7-Wire to 6-Wire Flexo-Coil Wiring Kit # RM-15267
- Supplemental Braking System: SMI Stay-IN-Play DUO Supplemental Braking System # SM99251
- Roadmaster Stop Light Switch Kit # RM-751490

Base plates are vehicle-specific and the Roadmaster EZ5 are a fit for your '19 Wrangler JL Unlimited and will give your car a clean look. The Falcon tow bar (pictured) is a great option because it is non-binding and has long arms which make it easier to maneuver when towing.

The wiring kit is designed to effectively prevent electrical feedback to keep your Jeep's electrical system safe, and the SMI Stay-IN-Play DUO supplemental braking system is highly recommended because it is a one-time install which you can leave in so you'll never have to deactivate or reactivate it. The stop light switch is needed to activates your RV monitoring system and alert you when the brakes of your towed car are being applied.

Finally, it is likely you will need a high-low adapter such as # RM-076 to keep your tow bar level with your tow vehicle. The adapter you need is going to depend on some measurements you'll need to take.
