Comparing Trailer Tire Sizes 16.5x6.5-8 and 165/65-8

Question:

AM3H200. would this tire be the same as the tire I have on my trailer now... The current tire I have is 16.5x6.5-8 ? Seems like same number minus the decimals. Thank you

You are absolutely correct that the two different tire sizes, 16.5x6.5-8 and 165/65-8, are in fact the same size, the latter being the modern metric designation. The part you referenced, Kenda # AM3H200, is a 165/65-8 bias-ply tire/wheel with a 4-on-4-inch bolt pattern in Load Range C.

The link provided at right will show you all available bias-ply tires and pre-mounted tire/wheel combinations. Simply click on the filters in the left-hand margin to narrow the results to what you need.

I have linked two helpful articles that may assist you in making your selection.
