What Circuits Normally Activate Wireless Backup Cameras Installed on RV

how do i get power to backup camera on a 2019 keystone cougar

Expert Reply:
Trailer wiring carries a few circuits typically that you could use to activate the camera of the Furrion RV Observation Camera System # FOS43TASF that you referenced. If you wanted the camera to come on when the vehicle is in reverse you'd wire it to the reverse light circuit, or the other really popular option is to run it to the running light circuit so that any time you want to use the camera you could turn on the running lights or head lights. It would be just a matter of running a length of wire to the nearest available source on the trailer for that circuit.
