2014 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon Tow Bar Lighting and Braking Kit Recommendation

I’m interested in towing a 2014 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon begins our 36’ RV. I’m interested in using the Roadmaster nighthawk with 1” Adapters to fit on the aftermarket bumper D-ring brackets. What supplemental braking system do you recommend and what type of wiring harnesses do I need to purchase for this vehicle combination?

The Roadmaster Nighthawk part # RM-676 can be used with 1 inch D-ring adapter part # RM-035-1 which is a fit for your 2014 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited.
For supplemental braking the SMI DUO part # SM99251 is the best option for you. This is the easiest to install permanent kit we offer and it works the best. I attached an install video for this kit on a 2014 Wrangler like yours for you to check out as well.
For lighting you can use the diode kit, # RM-15267, and not have to worry about cutting into the taillight housing. This will splice into your taillight wiring to allow your tow vehicle to control the taillight assemblies of the towed vehicle. This comes with a round 6-way connector that you will install on the front of your towed vehicle and enough coiled wire to go from there to the RV.
