Options for Installing Brake Controller on 2006 Fleetwood Fiesta on Workhorse Chassis
Question:
We are trying to find the brake controller plug on our 2006 Fleetwood Fiesta. Any ideas on where they would have hid that little gem? We have pulled the dash apart and can not find it. It is not near the park brake.

I believe that there is wiring located up under the dash and to the left of the steering column on the 2006 Workhorse W chassis that is for a brake controller that is on your 2006 Fleetwood Fiesta. Look for a bundle of wires held together with a white tag. The tag shows the functions of the wires. If that wire bundle is not present on your Bounder then the brake controller will have to be hardwired in.
You would need a 30 amp circuit breaker, # PK54530, wire # 10-2-1 sold by the foot, and some additional # 10-1-1 wire sold by the foot. This wire needs to be long enough to go from the brake controller all the way back to the 7-Way connector at the rear of the motorhome. I have included some links that will help. Not all of the information will apply though.
