Simple Way to Activate 12 Volt Accessory Trailer Wiring Circuit on Truck 7-Way
Question:
I dont have 12v output to 4pin or 7 pin trailer connections. Ford really doesnt provide factory wiring to trailer connections?

Not all manufacturers run the 12 volt accessory circuit to the rear trailer connectors. Sometimes though it's just a matter of completing wiring, adding a fuse, or a relay. The simplest approach that we've found is to run a wire from the 12 volt pin of the 7-way to the positive battery post with 10 gauge wire like part # 10-1-1 through a breaker like part # 9510.
