It sounds like and from the picture looks like you are getting a lot of air hitting the front of your trailer and some of that will be redirected when it also hits your tailgate causing some vibration as you stated. You can use a louvered tailgate for less restricted air flow like # VG-04-4000 or # VG-04-100 which will minimize that vibration caused by your specific combination of truck and trailer. These are both confirmed to fit your 2011 Ford F-150 Supercrew Short Bed.
You will also want to make sure your truck is able to tow the weights you are pulling as maximizing your towing capacity will also cause the vehicle to ride differently. Based on your engine and axle ratio you will have different max capacities for gooseneck towing. These capacities should be listed in your door jamb but I have also listed them below for your 2011 SuperCrew F-150:
5.0L V8 with 3.55 axle ratio--9,500 lbs
5.0L V8 with 3.31 axle ratio--8,100 lbs
5.0L V8 with 3.73 axle ratio--9,600 lbs
3.7L 4-VALVE V6 with 3.37 axle ratio--5,800 lbs
3.5L GTDI V6 with 3.55 axle ratio--9,800 lbs
3.5L GTDI V6 with 3.15 axle ratio--8,600 lbs
3.5L GTDI V6 with 3.73 axle ratio--11,300 lbs
