Brake Controller Wiring Harness Recommendation for 2015 Dodge Durango
Question:
Need to install a brake controller. 2015 Durango rt. Appears it has 5 wires in the 7 way plug. What all is needed to make everything work . Thanks

The 7-way of your 2015 Dodge Durango does have the wiring complete for a brake controller. The two pins that aren't being used should be the reverse light circuit (center pin) and the 12 volt accessory circuit (1:00 pin). Neither of these are needed for wiring in a brake controller so all you need is the # TK93VR that you referenced plus a brake controller.
For a brake controller I would recommend the Prodigy P3 Brake Controller part # 90195. This is our best selling brake controller because of how well it works and how easy it is to setup. This is a proportional brake controller that senses the amount of braking the tow vehicle is applying and applies a proportionate amount to the trailer brakes.
