If you will be adding electric drum brakes to your car dolly then you will need to install a 7-way trailer connector. For this, I recommend using the Trailer Wiring 7-Way Upgrade Kit part # HS381-9000. I have attached a photo which displays how the wires will need to be ran on the trailer connector.
In addition to the new trailer wiring harness you will also need braking assemblies, hubs/drums, a breakaway kit, and a brake controller. If you would like for me to recommend any of these parts please let me know and I would be happy to do so. I have also attached our help article on what parts are needed to add electric brakes to a trailer which will be pretty much the same as your car dolly.
