Will 1/2" of Clearance Between Chinook Bike Rack and 2018 Outback Wagon Cause Them to Touch
Question:
I installed a Draw-tite 75673 on my Outback and mounted the Swagman Chinook 2. When the Chinook is folded up against the back of the car, there seems to only 1/2 inch clearance from the bumper. Do I have to worry about it making contact while driving with the hitch folded up?

As long as you have the anti-rattle hitch pin of the Chinook # S64683 installed correctly on the Draw-Tite # 75673 then you shouldn't have any contact between the bike rack and your 2018 Subaru Outback Wagon.
If it is still too close for comfort then I recommend taking some foam, like a pool noodle, and securing it between your new bike rack and new vehicle.
