Trailer Tire for 12 inch Wheel with Capacity Over 2,600 lb
Question:
Hello, my tent trailer has a dry weight of 1800 pounds, a gvwr of 2600 pounds. It came with 5.30x12 C 3 ply tires rated at 1045 pound weight rating. seems low to me.

If each of your trailer tires are 1,045 lbs in capacity then with two of them combined you'd have a capacity of 2,090 lbs. If you are sure your trailer weight is going to be near your GVWR of 2,600 lbs then you'd need to go with a tire that will have more capacity for your wheels like the part # AM10140 which has a capacity of 1,520 lb when inflated to 80 psi.
