Where Does Black Wire of Brake Controller Wire to on Vehicle

Where does the 12V black wire get attached?

Expert Reply:
When hardwiring in a brake controller like the Tekonsha Primus IQ part # TK90160 the black wire runs to the positive post of the battery in the vehicle. I attached a diagram that shows all of the connections needed to be made to install a controller as well. For this you'd want to use 10 gauge wire like part # 10-1-1 (sold by the foot) ran through a breaker like part # 9510 and you'd be set.
