Does the Towing Capacity of the Channel Style Adjustable Ball Mount Part # C45900 Change
Question:
Hello, Are the listed towing capacities good for all of the positions? Example If I am using the hitch in a configuration at the lowest position with the 2inch ball is the unit still rated for 10,000 lbs?

The towing capacity of the Channel Style Adjustable Ball Mount part # C45900 will vary depending on the hitch ball used i.e. 2" (10,000 lbs) and 2-5/16" (14,000 lbs). However, the towing capacity will not change when using the ball mount in the rise or drop position and everything else in between.
In order to protect your investment I recommend using the Curt Hitch Lock part # C23519. I have attached a review video of the ball mount in action for you as well.
