Replacement Air Line Kit for Firestone Coil-Rite Air Helper Springs F4164
Question:
I just installed the airbags on my 2015 Sequoia. There is a slow leak in one of the air lines. I am pretty sure it is at the top of the bag, the air line was kinked just above the connection to the valve. I wanted to replace the section of tubing that was kinked so I tried pulling the hose out of the valve but it would not come out. Also tried pushing it in then pulling it out, still would no come out. What is the secret to removing the tube from this friction connection?

Thank you for purchasing Firestone rear air bag kit # F4164 for your 2015 Toyota Sequoia that has coil springs.
To replace the damaged air line you can use kit # FWR17600048 which is 18-feet of air line hose that is already equipped with the 1/4-inch threaded brass fittings.
It can be tough to remove the air line from the fittings since their friction fit is intended to help prevent accidental disconnection.
