Troubleshooting Prodigy P3 # 90195 Brake Controller That Displays 0.0 But Activates Brakes

Question:

Tekonsha Prodigy P3 shows 0.0 when braking but trailer brakes are being activated. Have controller set at 12 and when hand braked at controller the number goes up. Replaced an older Tekonsha Voyager and just wired into pigtail left after the Voyager was removed. Should the new controller show an increase from zero in normal braking?

I would try resetting your Tekonsha Prodigy P3 # 90195. Unplug it from the adapter at the rear for about 3 - 5 minutes and then plug it back up to see if that resets the screen. If this doesn't work then try doing that for an extended period of time like 15 minutes and if that doesn't fix your screen I would say that your P3 has something damaged internally and you should take advantage of the limited lifetime warranty of the product.
