Today we're taking a look at the Camco RV Water Pressure in ABS plastic, part number CAM40143. Today we're going to be taking a look at this Camco preset water pressure regulator. It is preset to 40 to 50 psi. You might be asking yourself, "Why do I need one of these" Well, this preset water regulator is designed to help protect your water supply line that's running over from your water source over to your camper, bu were going to be connecting in with the city water supply connection, which is right here on this camper. So by having it regulated to 40 to 50 psi, it helps protect your hose that runs over, as well as any plumbing inside your camper or RV; that way it's not damaged. Sometimes you might go to an RV park or a campground and you don't really know just how high a water pressure they have. If you have too high a water pressure, it can easily damage your water hose, your internal structure inside your camper, such as plumbing lines, faucets, things like that. So by just simply screwing this onto the water source ...

it threads on just like a standard hose would . ad then you'll thread your garden hose, which is your water supply line, onto this end. It is preset. There is no other adjustments you need to do. It is made out of a durable ABS plastic. So let's go ahead and show you how you would hook it up.

We're going to use this fitting here. This will be our water supply. It'll look similar to if youre going up to a standard inaudible 01:28 faucet or whatever setup the camp ground RV park might have for you. You'll have the male end here; you'll take the female end of the water pressure regulator; that'll simply thread on. So now we have this like this. We'll go ahead and take our female end of our water supply line and that'll thread here onto the male end.

There is also an arrow that's built in that shows you the direction of flow that the water needs to go. So from your water source, through the fitting, then out through your drinking water supply. Go ahead and tighten this down. The only other step theres left is to connect the other end to your water supply connection to the back of your RV camper.
