Brake Controller and Wiring Parts, Installation Instructions and Video for a 1999 Toyota Tacoma

Question:

I have a 1999 Toyota Tacoma. I would like to install a trailer wiring harness that will work for a 6 pole receptacle on my trailer. I would also like to install a brake controller at the same time. I noticed that I can get the T-connector setup that is 4 pole. Can you help me order something that Will wire the brake controller to the 6 pole adapter, using the 4 pole T-connector?

Here is what you need to get your Tacoma ready to tow. The T-1 trialer wiring harness, # 118379, a brake controller, # 90885, and the # ETBC6 brake controller 6 way install kit. The install kit contains everything needed to complete the install, including the 6 way connector and mounting bracket.

We have detailed instructions for installation of the wiring harness and brake controller installation kit, and have videos for you to review. The brake controller install kit video shows a different vehicle and a 7-Way connector, but the wiring principal will be the same.
