Is SMI Stay-IN-Play DUO Supplemental Braking System Compatible With 2014 Jeep Patriot
Question:
I don’t see a video that shows the mounting location of the SMI duo stay in play unit under the hood of an 2014 Jeep Patriot. Do you have a video or is it comparable to another vehicle’s installation location? Thanks for any assistance you can provide.

The SMI Stay-IN-Play DUO Supplemental Braking System # SM99251 is a fit for your 2014 Jeep Patriot. Although we do not have a video of this being installed on a Patriot I did link a video of it being installed on a '14 Cherokee which will be similar.
I also linked the installation manual for you to check out, though there are not specific instructions for different years, makes and models of vehicles so you will need to locate the vacuum line coming from the brake booster for your Patriot. Also please keep in mind the Roadmaster Brake-Lite Relay Kit for Towed Vehicles # RM-88400 will be required to ensure that your towed vehicle's turn signal lights flash in tandem with your RV's lights, unless you are using magnetic tow lights.
