No Running Lights on Trailer

Have you tested for power at the running light wire just before each taillight while the running light circuit is active with a circuit tester? If not then this would be the first place I start. If there is no power to the running lights then you will need to begin tracing the circuit back to the point of origin while using the circuit tester along the way to see where the connection stops. Pay special attention to the trailer connectors and the pins inside. If you cannot find any breaks on the wire then chances are it is a blown fuse and you will want to check the owner's manual for the corresponding location.

If you have access to a separate trailer or tow vehicle you can use them to determine if the problem is on the vehicle or trailer.
