Trailer Lights Not Working when Connected to 2008 Chevy Express 2500 w/Factory Tow Package
Question:
I have factory installed 7 pin trailer plug. I only have access poer to the plug. No turn, brake , running. I checked 30 amp fuse for trailer plug and fuses user driver seat dont see any issue. Any suggestions?

First we should make sure we have checked all of the fuses and relays related to the factory tow package wiring on your 2008 Chevy Express van. Under the hood there are the following fuses related to the tow package wiring:
Location 8 = right stop lamp, trailer turn signal
Location 16 = left stop lamp, trailer turn signal
Location 35 = Trailer wiring (this is a very ambiguous description and just might be the culprit)
Location 62 = Trailer wiring (see above)
Oddly enough there isn't a separate trailer running light fuse so it is either tied into one of the ambiguous "Trailer wiring" fuses or connected directly to the vehicle running light circuit.
If none of those are the issue then inspect the wiring itself as much as you are able and fix any damaged or pinched wires as needed.
