Comparing the Timbren Springs and RoadActive for 2004 GMC Sierra 2500HD with In-Bed Camper
Question:
I have a truck camper on my 2004 GMC 2500HD is this a better option over Trimbren? If so, why?

The best option we have for your 2004 GMC Sierra 2500HD with truck bed camper is the Timbren Rear Suspension Enhancement System part # TGMRTT35S. This system is specially designed for vehicles with truck bed campers and will do an excellent job of providing you with both support and stability. The RoadActive Suspension Custom Leaf Spring Enhancement Kit part # RAS4611 is not really going to give you enough support and would not be a smart buy for your particular application in my opinion.
The Timbrens are going to give you an excellent means of supporting the added weight but you may also want to think about sway. There is going to be a considerable about of body roll after adding the truck bed camper so to keep your vehicle planted on the road and safe while turning, I recommend adding an upgraded rear sway bar such as the Roadmaster Rear Anti-Sway Bar part # RM-1109-167.
