Trailer Hitch Recommendation for 2011 Hyundai Santa Fe for Thule Bike Rack
Question:
I have a 2011 Hyundai Santa Fe. I currently do not have a hitch on the car. I am buying my neighbors 2 bikes and his Thule bike rack. Which hitch works best for the combo of Hyundai, a Thule rack and 1 1/4 hitch. I dont think Im interested in a 2inch converter because there is nothing else I plan to haul. Should I still consider the HTAD for the flexibility? I really think I just need a 1 1/4 and would like your recommendation on which of your models would be best for me. Thanks

If the bike rack you are buying was intended for a 2 inch trailer hitch then you'd want the Draw Tite hitch part # 75684 for your 2011 Hyundai Santa Fe. If instead it's designed for a 1-1/4 inch hitch you'd want the Draw Tite # 36511. I wasn't sure which hitch size the bike rack was designed for but it's best to go with a hitch size that matches it directly as using hitch adapters like the # HTAD can reduce capacity by 50% and add movement to the overall setup.
