Rear Suspension Enhancement for a 2017 Ram 2500

Question:

Have Ram 2500 crew cab 2WD with diesel engine. Pulling a bumper pull TT with tongue weight of 1200 pounds. Have a weight and sway control system and it pulls well. I do get a lot of sag to rear of truck when lowering trailer on ball. Would the Timberline coil bumpers improve truck bounce from roads that have lots of dips and will these affect the ride when not pulling my TT. Appreciate your input.

The Timbren Rear Suspension Enhancement System part # TDR2500D that you referenced which are a fit for your 2017 Ram 2500 will help to alleviate some of the rear end sag but they have been known to produce a rough ride which can also be described as bouncy by some. For an alternative that will also alleviate some of the rear end sag but not affect the ride quality in a negative way as much, I recommend the SumoSprings Solo Custom Helper Springs part # SSR-312-54 which are very similar to the Timbren spring but are made of a softer material.

The SumoSprings or Timbrens will not affect the ride quality while unloaded. They are also both very easy to install.
