Truck Bed Crossbars Compatible with 2016 Toyota Tacoma and BAKFlip Tonneau
Question:
Yakima BedRock Truck Bed Cargo Rack - Mid-Size Trucks Item # Y01140-66 I have a 2016 Tacoma TRD Sport with BakFlip FiberMax tonneau cover. The rails of the tonneau are about 1inch below the original location. If I remove the cover and leave the rails as is, can I install this Yakima Bedrock on my truck? Thanks.

The Yakima BedRock Truck Bed Cargo Rack # Y01160-58 will not be compatible with the rails of your BAKFlip tonneau. For a compatible system you can use the Rhino-Rack Roof Rack System w/ 2 Vortex Aero Crossbars - Track Mount - Silver - 65" Long # Y02-500B which would require adding the rails to the top of your truck bed side rails. This will allow you to easily install and remove the rails as well as use them even with the tonneau in place if desired.
