In order to replace the ST145/80-R12 tires on your trailer, I recommend using the Kenda Karrier S-Trail Radial Trailer Tire part # AM10140. This tire like your existing have a radial ply which is better for long highway hauls and it comes with a load range E rating which is suitable for use up to 1,520 lbs per tire. It also has a 65 mph speed rating.
In regards to the date code you can find this information on the sidewall of the tire. There will be a set of four numbers which are separated from any other markings. The first two numbers represent the week and the last two numbers represent the year. For example, if the date code is 2511 then the tires were manufactured on the 25th week in 2011. I have attached a photo to assist.
Unfortunately, we do not have a way to select certain date codes prior to shipment but I can say that the majority of tires in our warehouse are under a year old. They can however be stored up to three years so long as they are in a climate controlled environment like our warehouse so regardless of the date code the tires would be suitable for use.
