How to Determine if RockyMounts MonoRail Solo Will Fit a 2014 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited with a Spare
Question:
Will this mount fit my Jeep and clear the spare tire or will I need to buy an extension? I have an Electra Townie Commute Go 8i electric bike that weights about 55 lbs with the battery removed. Thanks!

The RockyMounts MonoRail Solo 1 Bike Platform Rack # RKY10007 is compatible with both 1-1/4" and 2" receivers so it should fit your Jeep just fine, the only issue would be the spare tire clearance but we can find that out.
From the center of the hitch pin hole to the closest part of the rack when it is folded down is 12" while that changes to 6-3/4" when folded up. I doubt you will be able to fold this carrier up but if your spare tire sits less than 12" away from the center of the hitch pin hole on your trailer hitch receiver then this will fit your application.
If this won't fit just let me know what the distance is from the center of your hitch pin hole to the rearmost part of your spare tire and I can see if we have any bike racks that will clear it.
