Replacement Suspension Components for a 1987 Corey Dual Axle Trailer

Question:

I have a 1987 Corey dual axle trailer. Front axle is rated 3500 lb, rear is 5500 lb. bolt hole spacing is 26-1/2”. This is the measurement taken on the trailer NOT from the springs. Can you give me info on what to order? NOTE: ubolts, bushings, and shoulder bolts needed also maybe a kit??. Thanks

It is always best to replace your suspension components on your trailer with products that are the exact same size as what you currently have.

We do have the U-Bolt Kit # CE23002 which is for 3,500 lb axles that have a 2-3/8" diameter and these are 5-1/2" long. I would double check your 5,500 lb axle as that is not a capacity that I am familiar with. It may be a 3,500 lb that could have been misread as 5,500. You can also measure the diameter to verify that it has a larger capacity. An axle that is 5,500 lbs would be 3" in diameter.

If you are replacing your leaf springs then you need to measure your springs from center eye to center eye to help determine what length you need. If you can let me know this measurement and verify the weight capacity of your 2nd axle I can make a recommendation for you.

For bushings and suspension bolts you simply need to filter through our linked selection and choose ones that are comparable to what you currently have.
