Does Damaged Lippert Power Stabilizer Jack Need to be Replaced?

Question:

The long threaded rod that caused the pads to move up and down appears bent. I was able to remove and straighten one of the brace rods from the body of the jack to the jack pad. But when watching the pad go up and down, you can clearly see that the threaded rod is wobbling and still making the jack pad move from side to side and the arm for the pad will not retract up into the body of the jack. So, is a replacement threaded rod available?

Expert Reply:

I checked and there is no replacement threaded rod available for your Lippert Components High-Speed Power Stabilizer Jack # LC298707. If this part is damaged then you will need to replace the entire jack in order to ensure that you have the full capacity of the jack.
