Recommended Battery Connection from Motorhome to 2017 Jeep Cherokee
Question:
I already have a wiring harness on my Cherokee no charging . If I were to install a stop button to disable the dash. By doing that would that resolve my issue towing 3 or 10 hours and not having a problem? 2017 Jeep Cherokee

It sounds like you are flat towing your Jeep Cherokee. To keep your Jeep from having issue with the battery, a stop button to disable your dash is not the solution because it could cause other issues.
My recommendation is to use the Roadmaster Diode 7-Wire to 6-Wire Flexo-Coil Wiring Kit # RM-15267 and run # 10-1-1 wire (sold by the foot) from your battery on your motorhome through circuit breaker # 9510 and then to the 1 o'clock position on your 7-way. Then on the Jeep run that same wire from the 6-way adjacent pole to your Jeep battery positive terminal. This will give your Jeep a maintenance charge on the battery from your motorhome and you won't need to worry about disabling anything on your Jeep.
