Anti-Rattle Lock Recommendations for Use with Curt Hitch Extenders # C45058  

Question:

what size anti rattle hitch pin/lock do I need for each end of a 45048 extension? I use the longer hitch pin/lock with 2 in factory reducer now to attach a 2 in receiver to my 2.5in oem hitch. I assume the SHP2040-XL will fit the hitch end. What size do I need to order for the receiver end? My truck is a 2016 F350 4WD crew cab short bed. I will be hauling a truck camper on it. The factory advised at least a 30 in extension.

For the end of the Curt hitch extender part # C45048 that fits into the 2-1/2 inch hitch the best lock/anti-rattle device is the part # SHP2040-XL which you mentioned. Then for the 2 inch side you'd want the part # 63232 and you'd be set.
