Where do you measure from to get 64”?

The Roadmaster 64" Single Hook, Straight Safety Cables # RM-645 is the overall length of the unit. If you are at all concerned with the amount of length I highly recommend going to a longer cable such as the 76" # RM-645-76 or the 80" Double Hook # RM-674.
