Dexter Electric Over Hydraulic Actuator Compatible with 2017 GM Brake Controller

Hi Experts, I have a 2017 Chevy Silverado 2500 Duramax and recently bought a 29.5 foot boat with a tri-axle trailer. The trailer has a EOH brake actuator. Will the standard brake controller on my truck work or will I need to buy a new brake controller for the cab. Thanks,

The GM ITBC (integrated trailer brake controller) in your 2017 Chevy Silverado 2500 is indeed compatible with the Dexter # K71-651 Electric Over Hydraulic Trailer Brake Actuator.

Kodiak recommends DOT 3 brake fluid with their brake kits like the #K2HR79 that you referenced. Most applications can easily flush and be filled with a liter or quart so that's what I would grab at your local auto parts store.
