Recommended Bike Rack for a Mountain Bike on a 5th Wheel Trailer

Im looking at a Kuat NV 2.0, Im wanting to use it on my truck and a 5th wheel trailer to haul my MTB which weights about 27lbs. is this possible with this rack in particular?

I do have a bike rack that will allow you to haul your mountain bike on the back of your 5th wheel trailer but the Kuat NV 2.0 2-Bike Platform Rack part # NV22G is not rated for use on trailers therefore cannot be used in this application. A bike rack needs to be rated for use on the back of a trailer if used this way as it will experience far more stress than on the back of a vehicle due to the extended distance between the rack and rear axle.

For a bike rack that is rated for use on a 5th wheel trailer and will accommodate your mountain bike, I recommend the Kuat Transfer V2 Bike Rack for 2 Bikes - 2" Hitches # KU84FR. This rack was actually formulated for use on trailers and will do an excellent job of carrying your mountain bike as long as it does not have fenders. It holds the bikes by the wheels and can support bikes up to 60 lbs. It comes with a threaded hitch pin and lifetime warranty.
