Installation of Weight Distribution System with Factory Auto-Leveling Air Suspension
Question:
I have a 2013 Toyota sequoia platinum with the factory rear air suspension. It is automatic load leveling. Was wondering if this will change the procedure of setting up my Husky Centerline Weight distribution hitch. The owners manual doesn’t even touch on how to do this.

For your 2013 Toyota Sequoia Platinum with the factory rear air suspension, you can set up your Husky Centerline weight distribution hitch a couple of ways.
The ideal way is to turn the auto-leveling off. That would allow you to distribute the weight correctly not utilizing the system while using the weight distribution system. If you cannot turn it off, then you will connect the trailer, let it auto-level, then connect the spring bars on the weight distribution system.
There are not a ton of systems that don't allow you to turn off the auto-leveling system, so that is why you don't see much information on it. I've attached an article to assist further with typical installation and function.
