The Fan-Tastic Vent 3350 Series Upgrade Kit - Off White # FV803358 is not able to utilize the wireless remote. I reached out to the manufacturer and they said the wireless remotes are only able to function with the complete assemblies that included them.

To get that option, you will need to replace the entire unit with the Fan-Tastic Vent Roof Vent w/ 12V Fan and Remote - Powered Lift - 14-1/4" x 14-1/4" # FV807350. This assembly will fit in the exact same location as the one you replace without any issues. You can use installation kit # 344270KITW to make the installation water tight.
