In order to flat-tow a 2019 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk you are going to need a base plate kit, tow bar, safety chains, flat-tow wiring, a supplemental braking system, and a possible high-low adapter. I have attached my recommendation on the following parts for you below.

Base Plate Kit: Roadmaster EZ4 Base Plate Kit part # RM-521451-4
- This kit has removable arms for a clean look while unhooked from the RV. As long as you do not have the active air shutter system it will work for you.

Tow Bar: Roadmaster Falcon 2 Tow Bar part # RM-520 & RoadMaster Release Tool part # RM-066
- The Tracker tow bar has telescoping arms for better maneuverability and a self-aligning design for easy hookups.

Safety Cables: Roadmaster Safety Cables part # RM-643

Flat-Tow Wiring: Roadmaster Wiring Kit part # RM-15267
- Jeep issued a tech bulletin to install wiring kit 68321424AB when flat towing your vehicle, which is available at your local Chrysler and Jeep dealership.

Supplemental Braking System: Roadmaster InvisiBrake Supplemental Braking System part # RM-8700
- During installation, move the cable clamp/bracket as close to the pedal as possible and then drill a hole through the brake pedal arm.

High-Low Adapter: See Article

In order to complete your flat-towing setup you are also going to need a charge line kit like part # RM-156-25 to keep the vehicle's battery charged while in tow and a stop light switch like part # RM-751471 to alert you when the brakes of your towed car are being applied. Some models of this vehicle may use Mortorq® fasteners. If your vehicle has these types of fasteners, you will need a PFMTS2E bit to remove them which can be ordered through a Snap-On dealer.
