How to Install the 6 Bulldog Heavy-Duty Caster # BDC500245
Question:
The BD500245 6 inch Caster Wheel does not include any installation instructions. Specifically, it does not offer any guidance on what size pin hole to drill through the 2 inch jack tube not all jack tubes are pre-drilled for casters? As it is, the included pin is slightly over 1/16 inch smaller than the pin hole in the BD500245, providing a very loose or sloppy fit. I am thinking that it would be prudent to drill the pin hole in the jack tube the same size as the pin hole in the BD500245 caster and replace the included pin with a larger pin to provide a reasonably secure fit. Your comments / advice would be appreciated. Thanks

The Replacement 6" Caster Wheel # BD500245 from Bulldog is designed specifically for 2" Bulldog jacks which come with a pin hole. Since the installation of the caster wheel is simple (and it is a replacement part) Bulldog doesn't include any instructions.
Since your jack doesn't have a pin hole, if you were to drill one out. I would make sure that it is slightly larger than the 3/8" pin. The reason being that you don't want the pin to seize inside the jack in case you would need to remove or replace it.
The caster should fit fairly snug on your jack and the pin is merely a safety precaution to keep it from going anywhere when you aren't using the jack. Because of this the pin can have a loose fit.
