Will the Thule Apex XT Bike Rack Fit on a 2017 Subaru Forester with OEM Trailer Hitch

will Thule Apex XT 4 Bike Rack for 1-1/4 inch and 2inch Hitches - Tilting Item # TH9026XT work with a 2017 Forester oem hitch?

Although we haven't test fit the Thule Apex XT 4 Bike Rack # TH9025XT on a 2017 Subaru Forester with an OEM hitch I can give you some information to help you determine a fit.
The Apex XT is compatible with both 1-1/4" and 2" receivers so the concern about it actually being compatible with the receiver isn't there. What you need to check is rear clearance. From the center of the hitch pin hole to the foot of the carrier is 7-1/4".
Go out to your Forester and check the distance from the center of your hitch pin hole to the rearmost edge of your bumper. If it measures less than 7-1/4" you are good to go!
Please note that is you have a Class I trailer hitch you cannot carry more than 2 bikes on this bike rack.
