Location of Illumination Circuit for Gauge on Firestone Level Command II
Question:
How can I find a illumination wire for the light on the air pressure gauge? Truck is 2009 GMC Sierra Crew Cab.

Expert Reply:
The tow package wiring under the dash has an unused wire that can be used to illuminate the gauge on your Air Command. Look under the dash to the left of the steering column. There is a bundle of wires that will have a white tag taped to it. The wire colors in the bundle will be red, white, light blue with a white stripe, orange and dark blue.
The orange wire will show 12-volts on it when the headlights are activated, and would be a convenient place to attach the illumination wire for your air pressure gauge.
