Are the Wet Bolts in the MORryde Suspension Upgrade Kit a One Time Use

Question:

Replacement Wet Shoulder Bolt - MORryde Suspension Upgrade Kits - 9/16inch x 3-3/8inch - Qty 1 Item # MR52HR MORryde logo I have the MORryde x factor from you folks and am wanting spare wet bolts as I understand they are one use only due to the lock nut deforming the threads. Is that true.? My kit says I need Grade 5 7/16-20x3.4inch wet bolt smooth barrel is 9/16. The above appears to match and the answered question appears to agree. However I found Dexter has what appears to be an exact match in the 007-236-01. As you carry Dexter can you verify this? Last is there any difference between brands?

No, that is not completely true. The wet bolts can be re-used as long as they are not rusted, cracked or damaged in any other way, to include the splines or threads being damaged. The main thing that you'd want to replace is the lock-nut which can be sourced locally.

The Replacement Wet Shoulder Bolt # MR52HR (for attaching the springs to your equalizers) is the correct bolt for the MORryde Suspension Upgrade Kit # MR46ZR you have. There is also another wet bolt used which is the Replacement Wet Shoulder Bolt # MR92HR (for suspending your equalizers and springs from the hangers).

As for the Dexter 007-236-01 bolt, while we do carry Dexter products, we do not carry everything and that bolt is something that we do not carry. From what I could find on it, it appears it could potentially be just slightly longer and I could not find the grade the bolt is to ensure it is properly rated. My recommendation if you need a replacement would be to use the replacement bolt that is known to be correct.
