How to Correct Error Codes on 2016 Ford F-150 After Installation of Aftermarket Brake Controller
Question:
After installing the primusiq 90160 into 2016f150 xlt. The truck was already prewired for a brake controller. My truck keeps throwing errors on the dash. Stating 911 assist no longer works, ect. Is there something else i need to install or did I do something wrong?

If you are replacing a factory-integrated Ford trailer brake controller with your Tekonsha Primus IQ aftermarket controller # TK90160 then you can refer to the linked article that addresses the error codes that can appear on your instrument cluster.
In your truck the correct wiring harness to install the Primus IQ is part # 22292.
