7-Way Wiring/Junction Box Kit Recommendation for Flat Bed Trailer
Question:
We have a 2004 flat bed trailer that we would like to complete rewire. The trailer is 22ft bed, plus A tongue. We have two side lights, tail lights, and two axles with brake controls. We can use a 7pin hook up and 4pin. Do you have a complete kit or can you put one together? Thanks,

Expert Reply:
The Trailer Wiring 7-Way Upgrade Kit # HS381-9000 that you referenced will cover all of the wiring from the trailer 7-way connector to a junction box for you to install on the trailer frame. Beyond that it would be a matter of running wires from the junction box to each of the functions you have on the trailer such as lights and brakes. We have 10 gauge wire like part # 10-1-1 (sold by the foot) for wiring up the brakes and then 12 gauge like part # 12-1-1 for the lights as well.
