List of Best Products Needed for Towing with a 2014 Nissan Frontier

Question:

I am probably going to buy a camper. I was looking at adding a hitch to my 2014 Nissan Frontier. I was thinking of: Hitch - 13241 Wiring harness - 118266 Mounting bracket - A10-9394VP Trailer Brake - 331-EBRH-ACCV2 Will these all be compatible? What else might i need I have a post and ball already? What about a tool to remove plastic trim pieces? Anything else? Thank you for your help.

The parts that you selected for your 2014 Nissan Frontier are excellent choices.

Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # 13241 is a custom fit for your Frontier so no drilling will need to be done to the frame of your vehicle.

The Tekonsha T-One # 118266 will fit the Mounting Bracket # A10-9394VP but I also recommend using the No-Drill Mount Bracket # 18140 to avoid drilling into the Curt trailer hitch. We do have the Trim Pad Remover # ALL648544 available on our site that you see the installation team using in the linked installation video.

Redarc is a new brake controller manufacturer to America, but their brake controllers are in high demand in Australia where the company is based out of. The fact that you can install the control knob virtually anywhere is a huge attraction to people who need a brake controller.

In addition to the Tow-Pro Elite # RED44FR I recommend using the Plug-In Adapter # 3050-P which allows you to plug right into the connector that is found under the driver side dash of your Frontier (see attached picture). Just simply plug in the white connector under your dash, then cut off the black connector and splice the wires color for color with the pigtail that comes with the Tow-Pro Elite. You may find the Universal Mounting Panel # 331-TPSI-001 to be useful for a clean look as well.

Some installation videos and written details have been linked for you to reference.
