7-Way and Brake Controller Recommendation for 2008 Hummer H3

Question:

2008 Hummer H3 Base I recently purchased the Curt hitch from your company. I need to know what wiring harness to buy. It currently has no quick plugs. Looks like has to be spliced in. I need to end up with a 6 blade with one in the middle. Is that the 7 blade?? Thats what my rv has on it 6 blades around with one circular in the middle. Could you send me recommendations for wiring and any adapters I would need. Thanx

What you are looking for is the 7-blade style of trailer connector which is what is in the picture you submitted.

You will need to start with a 4-way (if you do not have one). For that you would want the # 18252.

Now if your trailer does not have brakes all you would need is the part # 37185 as an adapter to convert the 4-way to a 7-way.

If you do have trailer brakes you would need the # ETBC7 instead of the # 37185 and a brake controller. This kit comes with everything needed to wire up the 7-way and install a brake controller.

For a brake controller I would recommend the Prodigy P2 Brake Controller part # 90885. This is our best selling brake controller because of how well it works and how easy it is to setup.
