How Much Voltage is Applied to Each Brake Magnet at Full Braking Power
Question:
Should each brake magnet show 8-12 volts on dual axle 12” brakes. I have 13 volts at trailer 7 way connector. Thanks

Assuming you applied the manual override on a brake controller while set to the highest setting and moving down the road then the controller would send a full 12 volts to the brakes but there may be a slight drop in voltage by the time it gets to each magnet. I hope this helps.
