How Do Cold Air Intakes Affect Fuel Economy
Question:
I have been told that installing a cold air intake, would improve my fuel economy a little. Is that true? If I install one anyway and it does not improve my fuel economy, will it hurt my fuel economy?

A cold air intake like the AFE Direct Fit Cold Air Intake System # AFE51-11052 that you referenced could only help your fuel economy. Most likely it would give you a few more miles per gallon. As long as it is installed correctly it should give you increased fuel mileage and performance.
I attached installation instructions for you to check out also.
