Troubleshooting Trailer Running Lights Not Functioning on 2016 Dodge Ram 1500

Hey guys, I have a 2016 Dodge Ram 1500 and Im having trailer light issues on the truck. When I hook up my trailer lights, I have brake likes and turn signals but NO running lights I have replaced with F29 fuse and that did not work. Any ideas?

Most likely the problem is actually a weak ground on the trailer based on what you said. The running light circuit activates the most lights on a trailer so if you have a weak ground that circuit will be where it shows up.

Try cleaning the pins of your trailer wiring connectors and improving the grounds of the lights and most likely you'll see the circuit come back on.

Also you can check to verify the 10:00 pin of your 7-way has 12 volts when the running light circuit of your truck is on. Use a circuit tester like part # PTW2993.
